Saginaw-based Team One Credit Union offers financial literacy program to area schools
SAGINAW, MI – Team One Credit Union has teamed with Banzai, a national financial literacy program, to offer the course to local teachers and students free of charge.
Banzai is an interactive online program supplemented by printed workbooks which aligns with state curriculum requirements for personal finance education. It presents students with real-life scenarios in which they learn to pay bills, balance a budget and manage unexpected expenses.
In 2010 the Institute for Financial Literacy awarded Banzai the Curriculum of the Year award. It services more than 5,000 schools in all 50 states.
